My classmate Jordi Peivon at the beginning of the course left me two reading books to read at home. The truth is that they have been very useful to me because they are short and I have learned several expressions and vocabulary that I did not know before. With reading we can learn to write better, to internalize grammatical structures or phrases to be able to apply them in any context or topic that we want to speak or write. I think that you have to start with simpler and shorter books to gradually acquire a higher level and be able to face books with more pages and each time of greater difficulty. I recommend that you spend time reading books that interest you and are entertaining.   Today I have decided to watch cartoons in English because I think it is an easier way to get used to hearing English and to understand what the characters are saying. I think that I should start with the most basic and as I understand it, I will increase the level of the conversations. Cartoons are an entertaining way to learn English, you can learn many expressions that are said every day. Being simple and short sentences I can focus more on the pronunciation of words and I can gradually acquire the grammatical structures of the sentences, I can learn them better. Today I have been looking for information on online newspapers that exist in English both in the United States and in England. I have entered several of them and I have been reading news to get used to reading texts in English and thus be able to acquire more grammar and vocabulary. I think reading is a good method to begin to better understand the language and acquire the syntactic structures and vocabulary necessary to elaborate a sentence.
